AJ's Lounge & Restaurant

We enjoyed a delicious meal back in the old neighbourhood tonight at AJ's. I had the fish and chips, my husband had the liver, bacon and onions and we split a yummy chocolate brownie delight. We even got to sit at the Bobby's Hospice table. The atmosphere was very relaxing, our server was lovely and the food was awesome ... we're looking forward to getting back again soon.

Love this place! We go here all the time.Staff is fantastic. We usually get breakfast and always great. Lunch and dinner is a good option too.

**AJS Restaurant is an absolute gem!**From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was incredible—well-portioned, delicious, and fairly priced. My boyfriend ordered the steak, eggs, and home fries, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. He said it was the best steak he’s ever had at a restaurant! I had the egg omelet, which was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The home fries with onions were a standout—honestly, the best I’ve ever had.The service at AJS is top-notch, especially from Sean, the bartender. He’s always so kind and attentive, and he even remembers our drink orders every time we visit. Speaking of drinks, their Caesars are consistently on point—I look forward to them every time!The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a meal or a drink. AJS Lounge truly goes above and beyond to make every visit special. Thank you for the amazing food, fantastic service, and lovely environment. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Stopped in for breakfast I little cold inside, had to eat with my jacket on. Ordered steak and eggs with hash browns and a 3 egg omelet. Every thing was delicious and cooked to perfection. Vicky ours server was amazing, she was quite friendly and always checking in on us. A very nice and inexpensive restaurant to visit. I would certainly go back for another visit while visiting Saint John.Thank you

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. So far to date the best pancakes that I’ve had in Saint John so far. Really great food really good prices. The atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who’s looking for a fantastic breakfast at a really great price with good atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. The omelette was delicious and the eggs were perfect.

Cozy with paintings by local artists for sale. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The Eggs Benedict were medium poached to perfection and the Hollandaise sauce was thick and rich. The fried potatoes were average but hot. The side of ham was very good, not too salty. The coffee was smooth and didn't need any sugar. Covid-safe. For those with an appetite, there is a big breakfast with 4 kinds of meats for 18. I highly recommend this place.

Great breakfasts! They don't try to get fancy -- they do basic breakfasts really well. You can get Eggs Benedict many places around Saint John now, but these guys actually have the best in town. And it just happens to be the cheapest! They'll ask you how you want the eggs for it; just say "soft". (Be sure to add onions to your potato hash!)

Really good food at a great price! Staff members are super friendly and always fun to visit with. Highly recommended for a quick and yummy bite to eat.
